Welcome!

Seeds and Spores Family Farm is located 12 mile outside of Marquette in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Our passion is growing delicious food for our community, developing a diverse and resilient farm, and leaving the land healthier than we found it. 

We have been farming in the area for over twenty eight years. Our main focus is growing five acres of naturally grown vegetables, along with culinary and medicinal herbs, fruit, and mushrooms. We also raise Heritage Red Wattle hogs, Red Angus and Red Devon grass-fed cattle, and laying hens.

Our farm fresh food is also available through a variety of venues in the Marquette area, including our weekly CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program, the Marquette Food Co-op, the Downtown Marquette Farmers Market, and locally owned restaurants and stores. We also sell directly from our farm by appointment.
